At Morning Life we pride ourselves on doing in-depth, original sleep research focused specifically on the UK market.
In the last few years several general interest websites have started publishing generic articles about where to find the best mattresses, pillows, beds, etc. These articles are written with the sole goal of featuring products and companies that pay them the most money.
Their research is often minimal and the quality is questionable.
That’s why we started Morning Life.
We wanted to stand out and offer an alternative and dare we say better option for UK consumers. Our research goes beyond who pays the most. Instead we look at what people are really saying about products. This can include any of the following depending on the product:
- Buying and testing the products ourselves
- Finding out what people are really saying on social media
- Finding out what people are really saying on third-party websites like Reddit, Trustpilot, etc.
- Finding out what people are really saying in reviews left on e-commerce websites
- Affiliate Revenue
- Advertising
And we don’t just stop there. Instead of solely focusing on articles that can generate money we also write extensively on other sleep topics.
From how to sleep better to common dreams to popular lullabies.
Our goal is to create the best sleep resource in the UK.
So how do you make money?
Now, it would be great if we could do all this for free, but unfortunately that’s not the way the world works.
So we make money in two ways:
You’re likely already familiar with the idea of advertising so we won’t bother explaining it in any further detail. However, you might not be aware of how affiliate marketing works.
Basically, affiliate marketing pays publishers a fee if they recommend a product and generate a sale. Therefore, most of our product recommendations likely include an affiliate link. However, it is not a requirement to be featured on the website.
And, we don’t just rank the highest paying products first (unlike some of our competitors). Instead we rank our favourites first. We think there’s enough money to be made doing it this way rather than the other.
